Hawaii Bed and Breakfasts
There are many Hawaii bed and breakfasts
all over the Hawaiian Islands. A bed and breakfast can be
almost anything from a simple spare bedroom that a person
or family rents out, to apartment complex style housing,
to private hidden hideaways.
The great thing about bed and breakfasts
is that not only is each one unique, but they are usually
very affordable compared to other lodging choices.
Hawaii bed and breakfasts can range in price
from $60 or $70 per night all the way up to over $400 per
night. The majority though, seems to be around the $90 to
$140 price range. Not bad considering many Hawaii
hotels are more than that.
Also, in Hawaii it is traditional and customary
to take off your shoes before entering anyone's home. The
same is true for most bed-and-breakfast facilities. In fact,
some facilities are people's homes.
If this custom is unpleasant to you, a B&B
may not be for you... although I can't imagine too many
people having a problem with this.
