Hawaii Resorts
Hawaii resorts offer everything hotels
do, and more.
Unlike most Hawaii hotels, resorts are at
least partially, if not completely, on the beachfront. Resorts
provide lounge chairs, tables, pools, jacuzzies, fitness
centers, bars, restaurants, 24-hour front desk, concierge
service, valet service, bellhop service, 24-hour room service,
an activities desk, tennis courts, golf courses, business
center, kids' programs, and much more.
As you can see, there are many advantages
of staying at a resort. One of the biggest advantage is
the activities desk... on our first Hawaii vacation, we
stayed at the Sheraton
in Kauai and the activities desk was a big part in why
we had so much fun and always had something to do. It
helped a lot, especially since we didn't know the island
very well or what there was to do since it was our first
time.
Another thing we had at our
resort was an Internet lounge. This was great because we
were able to sit down every other day or so and write home
to all our jealous family and friends... for free! It was
very convenient. Most hotels and resorts probably have free
Internet access of some kind, but if you want to email back
home, just make sure they have it.
